Everett and Linda Garland

Everett Allen Garland, 64 and Linda McMullin Garland, 60, of Joe McMullin Road in Eubank, Kentucky departed this life together on November 20, 2012. Everett was born in Danville, Illinois on April 1, 1949, son of the late Jesse and Zora Smith Garland. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from Crane Plumbing. He was a member of Eubank Baptist Church. Linda was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 30, 1953, daughter of the late Coy and Bernice Wesley McMullin. She was a homemaker and former employee of Paul's Discount. She was a member of Eubank Baptist Church. They are survived by one daughter, Rhonda Wilson & (Gene Morrison) of Hustonville, KY and one son, Russell "Rusty" Garland & (Amanda) of Eubank, one grandson, Travis & (Jessica) Wilson of Tellico Plains, TN, one granddaughter, Allison Wilson of Eubank and one great-grandson, Lawson Wilson of Tellico Plains, TN. Everett is survived by three brothers, Jerry & (Nancy) Garland, Ron & (Jan) Garland and David & (Margaret) Garland and one sister, Lori & (Mike) Harbaugh, all of Illinois. Linda is survived by one brother, Doug & (Gina) McMullin and one sister, Dianne & (Tim) Smith, both of Eubank. They are also survived by eight nieces, seven nephews, eight great-nieces, nine great-nephews and a host of friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Sammie Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
