William Thomas Bentley

William Thomas Bentley, 87, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Etty, Kentucky on June 20, 1926, son of the late Andrew Jackson and Marilyn Burkes Bentley. He was a retired miner from Beth Energy and a member of Eubank Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Leona Todd Bentley of Eubank, one daughter, Shirley Bentley Ingram & (Russell) of Nancy, step son, Herbert K. Todd of Kings Mt., KY, two grandchildren, Marcus & (Lori) Ingram and Jennifer & (Chris) Wilson, two step grandchildren, Kaitlyn Leanne Todd and Logan Andrew Todd and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Hampton and Madeline Wilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Joyce Mullins Bentley, his parents, step son, Tim Todd, one brother, Douglas Fairbanks Bentley and four sisters, Hazel Johnson, Barbara Strange, Annie Elkins and Janie Yarber. A visitation will be held after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, KY at 11 AM Monday, December 2, 2013 with Bro. Dale Robins officiating. A visitation will also be held after 7 PM Monday at Carty Funeral Home. A funeral service will also be held at Carty Funeral Home, Neon, KY at 11 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery in Whitesburg, KY. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
