Ula Vivian Ramsey

Ula Vivian Ramsey, 94, formerly of Pulaski County, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Heartland of Oak Pavillion Nursing Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, following a long illness. She was born in Buncombe, Kentucky on November 13, 1913, daughter of the late Milton and Martha Liz Hamlin Moore. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and her children. She will be sadly missed by her family. She is survived by her children, Margaret Padgett of Norwood, OH, David & (Peggy) Ramsey of Science Hill, Katherine & (Charles) Asberry of Lancaster, KY, James & (Jackie) Ramsey of West Lafayette, IN, Cora Mae Eldridge of Frankfort, KY, Irene & (Ray) Duncan of Versailles, KY, Betty Ramsey of Science Hill, Wanda & (Mike) Cummins of Frankfort, KY, Brenda & (Mike) Luttrell of Lancaster, KY, Edward & (Elaine) Ramsey of Indiana, Linda & (David) Gregory of Science Hill, sister, Chloe Gabbard of Cincinnati, OH, thirty two grandchildren and twenty eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rowen Wesley Ramsey, whom she married on December 18, 1935, her parents, sisters, Minnie, Una, Cleo, Hazel, Virgie and Martha, brothers, Asbury, Atley, Earl and Lester Moore and sons-in-law, David Padgett and Arthur Eldridge. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
