Janice Faye Warren

Janice Faye Warren, 68, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Mintonville, Kentucky on July 16, 1945, daughter of the late Jerry Mar and Para Lee Dick Warren. She stayed at home and took care of her sister for several years. She love to can and enjoyed doing crafts and sewing, but most of all she loved going to church. She was a member of Ansel Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, John Cal Warren of Cincinnati, OH and one niece, who was raised as a sister, Brenda Sue Dick of Science Hill. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Iva Dean Warren and Barbara Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was like a mother and grandmother to all. She was preceded in death by Geneva Warren Short, Virginia Mae Warren, Dirl Iven Warren, Don Warren, Egbert Warren, Imogene Warren and William Warren. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Childers and Bro. Charles Woodcock. Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
