Richard A. Creekmore

Richard A. "Rick" Creekmore, 67, of Somerset, Kentucky, husband of Linda Jo (Ashley) Creekmore, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 16, 2014, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on June 21, 1946, son of the late Herstle and Juanita Crabtree Creekmore. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Melissa (Creekmore) Newton and grand dog, Oscar, a son, Stephen Snell, three beloved grandchildren, Austin, Nicholas and Sydney, a brother, Kenneth & (Glenda) Creekmore and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat Goggins. Richard was a man of many talents with a great love of music. The family requests any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Raise a glass of Glenlivet in his memory and fondly remember one of Richard's favorite sayings, "No crybabies." Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
