Marilyn Branscum Wesley-Kennedy

Marilyn Branscum Wesley-Kennedy, 72, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on July 3, 1941, daughter of the late Theo and Monnie Tucker Branscum. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, James Kennedy of Somerset, two daughters, Marketta & (Dale) Phelps of Somerset and Kathy & (Paul) Stockton of Nancy, three brothers, Windle Branscum of Stearns, KY, Joel Branscum of Wilmore, KY and Delbert Branscum of Monticello, KY, one step grandson, Jesse Stockton and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walden Glenn Wesley, her parents, an infant brother, Theo Branscum Jr. and two sisters-in-law, Gloria Branscum and Connie Sue Branscum. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. C.E. Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
