Harlan Shelley

Harlan Shelley, 85, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on December 17, 1928, son of the late Melt and Mary Osborne Shelley. He was a farmer and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister, Pearl Faw of Horse Cave, KY, sister-in-law, Barbara Shelley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell McKinney Shelley, his parents, four brothers, James Shelley, Harvey Shelley, Ernest Shelley and George Shelley, two half-brothers, Alex Shelley and Milton Shelley and one half-sister, Flora Colyer. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Good Hope Cemetery with Bro. Arnold Larkin officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
