Frank Allen Burton

Frank Allen Burton, 81, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on June 28, 1932 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, son of the late George and Sis Burton.  He lived at the same address since 1957.  He was a retired business man and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He is survived by, his wife of 58 years, Velma Norene Evans Burton; two sons, Douglas Allen & (Jennifer) Burton of Eubank, and Doyle Fray Burton of Somerset; one daughter, Julia Ann Burton of Somerset; one brother, Albert Burton; two sisters, Gladys Bray and Melba Nichols; three grandchildren, Jessica & (Patrick) Butcher, Lucas & (Katie) Burton, Jacob & (Jamie) Burton; and great-grandchildren, Kobe, Kaelyn and Kyndal Butcher, Elise and Noah Burton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron Burton and Youless Burton. Visitation for Mr. Frank Allen Burton will be after 5 PM, Monday March 17, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Monday March 17, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Butcher and Bro. Slade Moore officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethel Baptist Church building fund or the Gideons International. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
