Donnie T. Godby

Donnie T. Godby, 87, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born in Public, Kentucky on February 19, 1927, daughter of the late Robert and Louisa Bullock.  She was a homemaker and a member of Science Hill Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her children, Margaret & (Ken) Catron, Janice & (Dave) Fraley, Gloria Roth and Larry Joe & (Renita) Godby, two brothers, Beryl & (Helen) Bullock and Cartell & (Betsy) Bullock, ten grandchildren, Jon Anderson, Marc & (Angela) Anderson, Tiffany Anderson, Kenny & (Shanda) Catron, Jay & (Umida) Catron, Matthew & (Alyson) Roth, Keena & (Steve) Norton, Shannon & (Kristi) Fraley, Katie & (Brad) Gover and John & (Allison) Fraley, nineteen great-grandchildren, Gavin Catron, Katelyn Anderson, Haggan Bishop, Gunnar Catron, Shaw Bishop, Griffin Catron, Pyper Anderson, Vander Catron, Hollis Anderson, Hunter Kinney, Dylan Norton, Colton Fraley, Carson Fraley, Camdon Fraley, Foster Fraley, Blake Fraley, Luke Gover, Kaitlyn Gover and Jasmine Gover. She was a preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, two sisters and her husband, Loyd Taylor "Tate" Godby, whom she married on June 17, 1944 and who died on April 23, 1983. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Dr. Curtis Sellers officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
