Lois June Adams

Lois June Adams, 78, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on September 20, 1935, daughter of the late Oren and Irene Hardgrove Crawford.  She was a cashier for Super X and a member of Walt Nicholson Christian Church in Independence. She is survived by two sons, Rick Adams of Crittenden, KY and Gary Adams of Independence, KY, one daughter, Rhonda Cornelison of Berea, KY, three brothers, Charles Hilton Crawford of Eubank, Roger Crawford of Harrison, OH and Ronnie Crawford of Eubank, two sisters, Mary Wilson and Sheila Stringer, both of Lexington, KY, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Adams, her parents and one brother, Paul Crawford. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
