Clifford Getter

Clifford Getter, 74, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 11, 1940, son of the late Charles and Grace Middlesteader Getter.  He was a truck driver. He is survived by three sons, Dennis Getter, Randy Getter and Fred Getter, two daughters, Pam Greer and Rebecca Swinson, three brothers, Charlie Getter, Herb Getter and Rick Getter, one sister, Wanda Coffey, seventeen grandchildren, Jennifer, Larry, Kris, Randy, Amber, Wes, Megan, Hollie, Shannon, Whitney, Clinton, Victoria, Andy, Angel, Cliffton, Dustin and Lance and twenty seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Getter and his parents. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, May 2, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
