Allene Rose

Allene Rose, 87, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was born in White Lily, Kentucky on November 26, 1926, daughter of the late Milton Luke and Sara Jane Hargis. She was a retired custodian for the Pulaski County Board of Education and a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by three sons, Ronald & (Brenda) Rose of Gray Hawk, KY, Donald & (Carolyn) Rose of Waynesburg, KY and Denver & (Elizabeth) Rose of Eubank, four grandchildren, Heather Rose & (Scott) Clark, Alisa Michelle Rose, Mark Rose and Ashley Rose and two great-grandchildren, Tristen Clark and Connor Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Davis Rose, who died on January 1, 1996, her parents, four brothers, Harold, Willard, Carnell and George Hargis, three sisters, Mary Hargis Baker, Duluth Hargis Jones and Effie Hargis, two infant siblings and daughter-in-law, Kathy Louise Rose. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
