Michael Lee Dagley, 60, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 22, 1953, son of the late Alberta Mae "Bertie" Dagley Cook. He was a truck driver for Myers Trucking and a U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one son, Scott Lee & (Lavina J.) Dagley of Somerset, one daughter, Melessa Sue & (David) Sellers of Science Hill, one brother, Ronnie Dean & (Mary) Dagley of Somerset, three sisters, Carol & (Robert) Cook of Mt. Zion, Sandra & (Gregory) Parker of Science Hill and Sharon L. & (Jessie) Bingham of Somerset, seven grandchildren, Benny & (Christy) Warren, Keshia & (Tyler) Hughes, Danny Butt, Brayden Sims, Alberta Sellers, Kay'Lee Sellers and Tyler Dagley, five great-grandchildren, very special friend, Dan Maze and former wife, Rebecca Sue Sears.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta "Bertie" Cook and his grandfather, George Dagley, whom he called "Daddy".
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Fetter Wilder officiating.
Burial will be in Tarter Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 1 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
