Beatrice Ebbie Dagnan Hess

Beatrice Ebbie Dagnan Hess, 89, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was born on February 24, 1925 in Soddy Daisy, TN. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Roy Dagnan and Hattie Clayton Dagnan. She is survived by one son, Mark & (Valerie) Hess of Eubank; three daughters, Marina Webster of New Mexico, Marlene & (Denver) McKinney and Melissa & (Glenn Ray) Smith both of Eubank; one sister, Bivian Craig of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Lee Hess; one son, Michael Leon Hess; one granddaughter, Maria Angeline Webster, one son-in-law, John Webster; five brothers, Jewel, Charles Evan, Abe Dennis, Roy Dubois and John Darius Dagnan; and one sister, Barbara Shipley. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Hess officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Ms. Beatrice Ebbie Dagnan Hess will be after 12 Noon Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
