Adrian Lee "Junior" Surber, 70, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Eubank, Kentucky on November 29, 1943, son of the late Cleo and Leona (Deaton) Surber. He was a retired carpenter, an avid fox hunter and enjoyed being surrounded by his family. He was a member of Pulaski Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pamela Joyce (Cook) Surber, his children, Gregory Scott (& Tina) Surber of Somerset, Denise (& Troy) Mayfield of Somerset, Melanie Kilgore of Eubank and Eric (& Heather) Surber of Lexington, KY, six grandchildren, Alex (& Chassidy) Kilgore, Mikaela Surber, Adriana (& Adam) Bradshaw, Madison Mayfield, Megan Surber, Devin Mayfield and a great-grandson, Bryson Decker. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty (& David) Waddle and Mary (& Bob) Ellis and an uncle, George B. Deaton. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffin officiating.
Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 PM to 9 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
