Glenn Callahan

Glenn D. Callahan, 89, of Lockland, Ohio, formerly of the Grundy community, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 12, 1925, son of the late John and Alta Randall Callahan. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He is survived by two daughters, Betty Sue & (Jim) Smith and Alta & (Mark) Ellis, six grandchildren, Jack, Glenna, Jason, Zach, Cody and Taylor, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, James & (Doris) Callahan, Billy & (Edwina) Callahan and George & (June) Callahan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Yahnig Callahan, his parents, one brother, Irvin Callahan and sister-in-law, Effie Callahan. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 20, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Rock Lick Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
