Darlene Staton

Darlene Staton, 80, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Mt. Victory, Kentucky on March 16, 1934, daughter of the late Arthur and Onnie Littrell Judge. She was a caregiver and attended Fairview Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Hank Judge of Mt. Salem, KY, Shawn Staton of Waynesburg, Vince Staton of Casey County, KY and Jeff Staton of Salvisa, KY, three daughters, Donna Staton of Harrodsburg, KY, Teresa Gilpin of Waynesburg, KY and Glenda Staton of McKinney, KY, three brothers, Wade Judge of Lexington, KY, Eugene Judge of Waynesburg, KY and Joe Judge of Stanford, KY, three sisters, Christine Turpin of Somerset, Louise Judge of Owenton, KY and Fostine Hamilton of Berea, KY, sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Carl Staton, her parents, two sons, Larry Staton and Ryan Keith Staton, one brother, Donald Ray Judge, five sisters, Iona Judge, Inez Judge, Yvonne Judge, Lorrene Judge and Shelby Judge and one grandson, Kenneth Carl Creech. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, June 20, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Baker officiating. Burial will be in Poplarville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
