Minnie Ethel (Littrell) Smith

Minnie Ethel Littrell Smith, 95, of Goodhope-Goochtown Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Goochtown, Kentucky on August 16, 1913, daughter of the late Albert and Lora Littrell. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She is survived by three sons, Lonnie & (Alice) Smith of Blanca, CO, Don & (Sally) Smith of Highland Heights, KY and Glenn & (Jane) Smith of Somerset, three daughters, Evelyn & (C.J.) Gooch of Ft. Thomas, KY and Frances Taylor and Irene & (Benny) Robertson, both of Newport, KY, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hubert Smith, whom she married on December 26, 1932 and who died on November 26, 2006, her parents, one son, William Smith, three half brothers, Charlie Blevins, Emo Littrell and Ira A. Littrell and one half sister, Rosie Littrell. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Carter officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
