Ivan Darrell "Mister" Hines

Ivan Darrell "Mister" Hines, 88, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 18, 1925, son of the late John William & Uva Dail Deatherage Hines. He was a Truck Driver for Oran's for 25 years, then he was the co-owner of Hines Body Shop from 1978 to present. He was a member of Freedom Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ella Mae Blevins Hines; his children, Brenda & (Danny) Hackney, Joey & (Barbara) Hines, and Teresa & (Randy) Walker all of Eubank, Kentucky; a grandson, Kevin & (Glenna) Hackney of Eubank, Kentucky; a great-grandson, Eli Hackney; brothers and sisters, Doyal Hines, Phyllis Burton, and Maxine Daugherty; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Roy, Ray, Bill, James, Faye, Evelyn, Carroll, Pauline Hicks, Ella Mae Zeller, and Mitt Prewitt. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Ivan Darrell Hines will be after 11 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
