Theodore "Ted" Partin

Theodore "Ted" Partin, 72, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on August 19, 1941, son of the late Floyd Lee and Edith King Partin. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Alice Elaine Chitwood Partin of Science Hill, two sons, Mark Partin of Science Hill and Andrew Partin of North Carolina, one daughter, Patricia & (Gordon) Gentry of Eubank, three grandchildren, Ryan, Sean and Owen, four step grandchildren, Keelin, Kendall, Blakley and Bristol, four brothers, Danny & (Linda) Partin of Cincinnati, OH, Bill & (Kathy) Partin of Landon, OH, Claude & (Barb) Partin of Science Hill and Phillip Partin of North Dakota, two sisters, Rosemary Schank of Science Hill and Gladus Gorman of Cincinnati, OH, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Glen, Stan, Roy and Floyd "Champ" and two sisters, Geraldine and Cleo. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Zandell Hasty and Bro. Woody Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
