Bobby Lee McKinney

Bobby Lee McKinney, 68, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, formerly of Science Hill, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Woodstock, Kentucky, son of Etna Debord McKinney and the late Robert McKinney. He was a retired mechanic and loved race cars. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Gail Wesley McKinney of Waynesburg, his mother, Etna McKinney of Science Hill, one son, Jacob & (Cierra) McKinney, two step daughters, Beth & (Chris) Godbey and Amy & (Donnie) May, one brother, Denver & (Marlene) McKinney, all of Eubank, two sisters, Glenda & (Miles) Ashley of Science Hill and Carol Denney of Somerset, seven grandchildren, Christian Godbey, Carlee Godbey, Cameron Godbey, Austin Wilson, Halie Wilson, Brittany McKinney and Keisha McKinney, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert McKinney and one son, Allen McKinney. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. T.J. Godby officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
