Victoria Josephine Miller

Victoria Josephine Miller, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Pulaski County, passed away Friday, August 29, 2008 at Norton Suburban in Louisville. She was born in Pine Knot, Tennessee on April 19, 1921, daughter of the late James and Dicy Hill Taylor. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Robert Miller of Somerset and Howard Miller of Sevierville, TN, three daughters, Joyce Francis of Mt. Washington, KY, Lois Rutledge of Indianapolis, IN and Wilda Stringer of Somerset, twenty-four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie James Miller, her parents, two sons, Tully Miller and George Miller, one daughter, Vicki Sheryl Miller, two brothers, Charles Taylor and Silas Taylor, four sisters, Dora Pitman, Ruth Pitman, Sophia Burton, Ida Bell Bryant and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
