Jacob "Jake" Claude Faw

Jacob "Jake" Claude Faw, 56, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, son of Wiley and Geneva Faw, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Hyden, Kentucky on June 28, 1958, son of Wiley B. Faw Sr. and Geneva Willis Faw. He was a former cashier for Wal-Mart of Stanford and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was a beloved son, brother and uncle, survived by his parents, Wiley and Geneva Faw of Waynesburg, sisters, Rhonda Faw & (Steve) Cassel of Dayton, OH and Mira Faw & (Tim) Reeves of Waynesburg, sister-in-law, Vicki Faw & (R.J.) Harding of Tell City, IN, three nieces, four nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Lynn Sapp Faw and one brother, Wiley B. Faw Jr. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Bro. Kyle Page and Bro. Don Reece officiating. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
