Myrtle Wesley

Myrtle Wesley, 72, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Piney Grove #1, Kentucky on June 11, 1942, daughter of the late Alonzo C. and Thelma Phelps Glover. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Roy H. "Duke" Wesley of Science Hill, one son, Darren & (Gina) Wesley of Science Hill, three daughters, Rhonda & (Donnie) Thurman of Eubank, Connie Mullins of Science Hill and Karen & (Bryan) Wilson of Somerset, one brother, Hubert L. Glover of Mt. Vernon, KY, nine grandchildren, Misty Welch, Jarred & (Lyndsay) Thurman, Josh & (Nancy) Whitis, Julia Mullins, Chasiti & (Aaron) Ross, Abigail Wilson, Cody Weddle, Dylan Wesley and Stacy Wesley, five great-grandchildren, Hunter Robinson, Haydon Robinson, Roselynd Keith, Morgan Keith and Layla Ross, and a special niece, Donna Walls of Science Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James C. Glover and one sister, Barbara J. Mize. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Bialon officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
