Ron L. Harness

Ron L. Harness, 66, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 1, 1947, son of the late Elbert T. and Thelma Byrd Harness. He was a machinist for Dayton Envelope Company and a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church for four years. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carolyn Ping Harness of Somerset, one son, Matthew & (Dawn) Harness of Somerset, three daughters, Rhonda Perry of New Port Richey, FL, Tammy & (Chris) Weiler of Sidney, OH and Kathy Harness Tidwell of Piqua, OH, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Vaughn Daughtery and one sister, Linda Watson. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Goodwater Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
