Jackie W. King

Jackie W. King, 76, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 10, 1938, son of the late John William and Savannah Florence Stone King. He was a plumber and electrician. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Sheila C. Goff King of Somerset, three sons, Anthony King of Somerset, Johnny King of Georgetown and Dewayne & (Jennifer) King of Somerset, one daughter, Savannah & (Steven) Jasper of Science Hill, one brother, Euford King of Indianapolis, IN and one sister, Pauline Hurston of Walton, KY, one grandson and five granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Edward King and two sisters, Lucille King and Murrell King, who both died in infancy. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 29, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Somerset Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
