Gerald Hendricks

Gerald D. Hendricks, 68, of Hendricks Road in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Hogue, Kentucky on August 31, 1940, son of the late William Aaron and Mary Beth McKee Hendricks. He was a farmer and of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife, Illa Jean Wesley Hendricks of Science Hill, one son, Gerald Avalon & (Brenda) Hendricks of King Bee, two brothers, Alvie & (Eardene) Hendricks and James Boyd "Pap" & (Maxine) Hendricks, both of Science Hill, one half sister, Hazel Elliott of Science Hill, three grandchildren, Heather & Corey Bryant, Justin and Terri Troxell and Rachel Hatfield and eight great-grandchildren, Taylor Whitaker, Shelby Whitaker, Megean Bryant, Jeffrey Michael Troxell, Connor Troxell, Dylan Snow, Skyler Hatfield and Jacob Hatfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, one great-grandchild, Davidson Snow and brothers and sisters, Edgar, Beulah, Alger, Earl, Lanas, Easter, Roy Amos, Orlean, Jessie, Leona and Noble. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Wesley officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
