Zella Mae Singleton, 94, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on April 12, 1920, daughter of the late Lincoln and Bannie Spears Wesley. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by three sons, Larry & (Jenny) Singleton, Loyal & (Carol) Singleton and Bobby & (Barbara) Singleton, one daughter, Glenda & (Jim) Griffin, all of Eubank, two brothers, Eunice Wesley of Virginia Beach, VA and Vestal Wesley of Michigan, two daughter-in-laws, Phyllis Sue Singleton of Eubank and Mildred Singleton of Somerset, thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemont Singleton, whom she married on April 3, 1940 and who died on January 16, 1987, her parents, two sons, Forest Singleton and Clyde Singleton, four brothers, Floyd Wesley, Lloyd Wesley and Boyd and Steve Wesley, who both died in infancy and three sisters, Rosetta Bailey and Alena Osborne and Alice Wesley, who died in infancy.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Singletontown Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12 Noon Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
