Mary E. Brinegar

Mary E. Brinegar, 86, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Beech Grove, Kentucky on October 19, 1927, daughter of the late Cyrus Hardin and Sylvia White West. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Connie Gail Downs of Xenia, OH, Mable Ann Martin and Bobbie Sue Kendall, both of West Union, OH, Sandra Lee Conover of Xenia, OH and Brenda Kaye Smith of Science Hill, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brinegar, who died on October 14, 2011, her parents, one daughter, Donna Jean Carter, three brothers, John Marion West, Howard West and Charlie West, two sisters, Renee Carter and Virginia Polly Johnson and one grandchild, Jeremy Downs. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Randolph officiating. A private family burial will be held at Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
