Floyd Clay "Blue" Warren

Floyd Clay "Blue" Warren, 75, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on April 17, 1939, son of the late W.E. and Lena Wesley Warren. He was a farmer and a maintenance employee for the Pulaski County Board of Education. Floyd was a devoted member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Somerset. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Izella Randolph Warren and his children, Randy Warren & (his fiancé, Amy) of Somerset, Calvin & (Shelly) Warren of Clearwater, FL, Billy & (Tabatha) Warren of Somerset and Bobby & (Tanya) Warren of Somerset. Floyd is also survived by nine grandchildren, Beth, Latasha, Devon, Noah, Blade, Isaac, Madison, Morgan and Caden Warren, two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Immanuel Warren, his brothers, Jonah & (Marie) Warren, David & (Patsy) Warren and Ralph & (Nadine) Warren, all of Science Hill, Barney & (Reva) Warren of Cincinnati, OH and Rick & (Lois) Warren of Science Hill, his sisters, Birdinia & (Howard) Oakley of Cincinnati, OH and Judy & (Murrell) Phelps of Jeffersonville, IN and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Warren and one brother, Nelson Warren. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Phillips and Bro. David Eastham officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Sardis Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
