Floyd Dee "Giz" Weddle

Floyd Dee "Giz" Weddle, 75, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Hogue, Kentucky on August 2, 1939, son of the late Morris and Thelma Wesley Weddle. He was a retired printer for Zumbiel Box Company of Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Bethelridge United Methodist Church. He loved to fish, watch all sports and make pocket knives. He was a member of Walnut Hills Masonic Lodge in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Mary Faustine Spears Weddle, whom he married on September 20, 1963, two children, Anthony Weddle and Allison Taylor, two grandchildren, Justin Haste and Katie Taylor, all of Science Hill, two brothers, Ray & (Mildred) Weddle and Paul Weddle, both of Science Hill and five sisters, Wanda Wesley of Cincinnati, OH, Maxine & (James) Hendricks, Betty Sue & (Coy) Mofield and Juda & (Fred) Godbey, all of Science Hill and Linda & (Kingsley) Bost of Poplar Bluff, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lenore McClain. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
