Orena Mae Dick

Orena Mae Dick, 70, of Poole Doo Road in Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky on June 2, 1938, daughter of the late James and Isabelle Roberts Vaught. She was a homemaker and a member of Ferndale Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Rodney Wayne Dick of Unionville, TN, two daughters, Schella Grider of Nicholasville, KY and Wilma Dick of Pikeville, KY, one sister, Opal Sowers of Sadieville, KY, seven grandchildren, Chasety Hogue, Scotty Stanley, Amanda Johnson, David Charles, Shaun Dick, Hilary Dick and Ryan Grider and eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Hogue, Emily Stanley, Daniel Stanley, Katie Stanley, Braxton Johnson, Makayla Dick, Zachary Grider and Grace Grider. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Eldon, Ralph, Marcus, Charlie and Stanley Vaught and one sister, Manilla Godbey. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Laurel Gosser officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
