Shirley Mae Young

Shirley Mae Young, 65, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Wayne County Hospital. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky on September 13, 1949, daughter of the late Wendell and Murl McGuire Young. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Rexal K. Brown and Ricky Lee Brown, one daughter, Murl Southwood, all of Monticello, KY, three brothers, four sisters, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Wendell Young Jr. Private services will be held. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
