Phil Stanley Combs

Phil Stanley Combs, 68, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014. He was born in Cordia, Kentucky on February 12, 1946, son of the late Bill and Hazel Francis Combs. He was a retired Tech Sergeant for the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by one son, Sean Michael Combs of Eubank, one daughter, Alicia Christine Combs of Bolder City, NV, one brother, Clark Gable & (Inez) Combs of Chesapeake, VA, two sisters, Nancy Sue Gayheart of Hazard, KY and Frances Ann & (Danny) Carter of Eubank, four grandchildren, Jasmine Desiree Combs, Summer Rae Smith, Taylor Ranae Smith and Christine Michelle Smith and a host of many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Pete Gayheart. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Liberty Nature Center, P.O. Box 3746, West Somerset, KY 42564. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
