Helen Dyer

Helen Dyer, 83, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Baptist Regional. She was born in Walnut Grove, Kentucky on November 18, 1931, daughter of the late Walter and Laura Eva McKinney Cash. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Lynn & (Johnnie) Tucker of Eubank, five grandchildren, Chris Dyer, Amanda Carroll, Brittany Sexton, Brandie Tucker and Brian Tucker, seven great-grandchildren, Rachael Carroll, Heather Carroll, Brooklynn Sexton, Gregory Sexton, Kylee Sexton, Kristen Hoskins and Andrew Christopher Dyer, one great-grandchild, Hadley Hoskins and companion, Curtis Hardwick. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Dyer, her parents, one son, Michael Leon Dyer, one brother, James Cash and one grandchild, Jason Andrew Shackleford. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 22, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ulanda Price officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY. Visitation will be after 9:30 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
