Lee Odes Harper, 69, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Brodhead, Kentucky on January 8, 1945, son of the late Earl and Sallie Harrison Harper. He was retired from Crane Plumbing. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Branscum Harper, three sons, David Harper and Kevin Harper, both of Science Hill and Patrick & (Kristal) Harper of Somerset, one granddaughter, Jordyn Daws of Somerset, two sisters-in-law, Joella & (Lewis) Wesley and Ivadean Warren, both of Science Hill, two brothers-in-law, Gerald & (Jemima) Branscum of Science Hill and Eugene & (Juanita) Pitman of Ohio, a special niece, Brandi Brown of Science Hill, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Pauline Brown, one brother, Monroe Ross, three brothers-in-law, Charles Brown, Woodrow Adams and William Warren, two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Adams and Sue Young, a nephew, Doug Young and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Edna Gaddis. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 26, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darvie Fenison officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Lee Odes Harper memorial fund. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
