Jolene Estes Denney

Jolene Estes Denney, 82, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on May 29, 1932, daughter of the late Joda and Elsie Burton Estes. She was a retired nurse's aide for Life Line and a member of Northside Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Jim & (Vickie) Denney of Eubank, two daughters, Wanda & (Stanley) Ramsey of Eubank and Jody & (Ronnie) Kemper of Science Hill, three sisters, Lois Jean Cox of Somerset, Ima Joyce & (Robert) Compton of Batavia, OH and Betty Crawford of Science Hill, five grandchildren, Amy Carman, Mark & (Kim) Denney, Joy Mounce, Cody Kemper and Bridget & (Greg) White, eight great-grandchildren, Michael Woosley, Zack Woosley, Conner Denney, Clara Denney, Tyler Mounce, Ashley Mounce, Sabrina White and Dalton White and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Cox and Jerry Crawford. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Slagle and Bro. David Muse officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Science Hill Garden Club. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
