Stephanie Eileen Cornett Black

Stephanie Eileen Cornett Black, 55, of Snellville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was born in Liberty, Kentucky on August 21, 1959, daughter of the late Wendell Cornett and Deva Marceline Stephens Cornett Moore. She worked 30 years for Norfolk Southern Railway, with her most recent position as the assistant to the Vice President Engineering. She was a member of Mt. Olive Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Greg Black of Snellville, GA, one son, Bradley Black of Atlanta, GA, one brother, Steve Cornett of Waynesburg, KY, several nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday and from 9 AM to 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
