Bryan Douglas Goad

Bryan Douglas Goad, 49, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008 at his residence. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on September 11, 1959, son of Robert and Dorothy Wilson Goad. He was owner and operator of Goad Trucking and Excavating. The business is continuing to be run by his two sons, Shawn and Aaron Goad. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cathy Lowe Goad, one daughter, Crystal & (Chris) Hall, two sons, Shawn & (Chelsa) Goad and Aaron Goad, three grandsons, Connor Douglas Goad, Grant Wilson Hall and Landon Allen Goad, his parents, Bob and Dorothy Goad, one sister, Connie & (Cheyenne) New, three nieces, two nephews and three great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one grandson, Levi McKinley Goad. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Mt. Union Baptist Church, Keno, KY with Bro. Brady Goad and Bro. Vernon Goad officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Union Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
