Ted Noah White, 77, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He was born in the Sugar Hill Community, Pulaski County, Kentucky on August 28, 1937, son of the late Robert P. and Anna E. Bullock White. Ted proudly served our country for 8 years as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a retired teacher of the Somerset School System. he enjoyed traveling with his wife. He will be remembered by his many friends and customers that he met during his years of being in the Flea Market business.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Vicente White, two sons, Art White & (fiancée, Alisa Peterson) of Somerset and Brent White & (Sarah) of Falls Church, VA, brothers, Ben White & (Hadie) and Don White & (Carol), sister-in-law, Virginia White, all of Somerset, grandchildren, Chris and Debra White of Science Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. Ted is also survived by his former wife and life friend, Anita Whitaker White.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Robert "Bob" White.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, February 2, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Chaplain Clarence Floyd officiating.
Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
