Leona Faye Meade

Leona Faye Meade, 75, of West Fairview Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on May 22, 1933, daughter of the late Albert and Mattie Surber Todd. She attended Berea College and was a secretary for Pulaski County School System. She was a member of Goochtown Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Meade, whom she married on October 20, 1953, two daughters, Marlana & (Glenn) Mitchell of Frankfort, KY and Mary Lee & (Christopher) Craig of Brodhead, KY, one sister, Lavena Holtzclaw of Somerset, two grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth Craig and Keaton Patrick Craig. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Carter officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
