Lou H. Soja

Lou H. Soja, 80, of Poplar Estates in Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 22, 1928, daughter of the late Ezra and Ethyl Girdler. She was a hand press operator for Kaynee Clothing in Cleveland, OH. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Soja of Somerset, three sons, Stanley & (Veronica) Soja, James & (Brenda) Soja and Steve Soja, all of Cleveland, OH, one daughter, Roberta & (Ricky) Matviya of Cleveland, OH, one sister, Roberta Haste of Somerset, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Eddie Girdler, one daughter, Linda Rogers, three brothers, Henry Girdler, Ralph Girdler and Lawrence Girdler and one sister, Cloda Mae Girdler. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 1, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
