Vivian Faye Foster

January 29, 1927 — February 16, 2015

Vivian Faye Foster, 88, of Science Hill, Kentucky, went to sleep here on Earth and awoke in the heavenly presence of God at 3:15 in the morning on Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born in Oil Center, Kentucky on January 29, 1927, daughter of the late Byron and Lula Pitman Walker. Faye was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and throughout the years was a beloved Sunday school and Bible study teacher. She also had spent many hours enjoying her favorite past-time, quilting. But, one of the most treasured memories of Mrs. Faye Foster was that her family and friends upon entering her home, would often find her on her knees in prayer. Faye was the wife of the late Arthur T. Roberts, both were survived by their son, Bobby & (Kim) Roberts of Cincinnati, OH. Faye also survived her second husband, Reuel Foster and they both are survived by their children, Sheldon & (Ramona) Foster of Cincinnati, OH, Shannon & (Cathy) Foster of Somerset and Glenda & (Roger) Haste of Somerset. She is also survived by one sister, Gwen Morgan of Indiana, one brother, Ira J. Walker of Indiana, her grandchildren, Dewayne Haste, Kim Black, Michele Foster, Shawn Foster, Casey Haste, Matt Foster, Charity Brown and Jarrett Foster as well as a whole host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Arthur T. Roberts, her second husband, Reuel Foster and one brother, Gene Walker. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Sewell Bro. Larry Butte and Bro. Gary Evans officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
