Bertha Maggard

Bertha Maggard, 93, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born in Perry County, Kentucky on March 22, 1921, daughter of the late Branger and Martha Combs Salyers. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Roy & (Karen) Maggard of Ypsilanti, MI, two daughters-in-law, Lillian Maggard of Knoxville, TN and Denise Maggard of Taylor, MI, one sister, Lorraine Labo of Trenton, MI, grandchildren, Tina & (Robert) Maggard Smith, Teresa Wheeler, Christy Maggard, Andrea Maggard, Gregory & (Melissa) Maggard, Kathy Herron, Laurie Maroney and Robert Maggard, great-grandchildren, Brittany & (James) Potter, Rachel & (Stephanie) Maggard, Sean Maggard, Melanie Maroney, Scott Martin, Jeremy & (Kate) Herron, Tiffany & (Tim) Tallent, Amber & (Matt) Davis, Jordan & (Ceresa) Smith, Kennedy Wheeler, Emmeria Wheeler, Delaney Wheeler, Hailey Maggard, Victoria Maggard, Dominick Maggard, Myranda Maggard and Jasmine Maggard, thirteen great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Maggard, two sons, Coy Maggard and Robert Earl Maggard, several brothers and sisters and one grandchild, Cory Maggard. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
