Allan A. Hendricksen, 89, of Ellison-Pulaski County Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 5, 2008 at his residence.
He was born in Adams, Oregon on June 10, 1919, son of the late Benjiman and Ida Petrula Hendricksen. He was a machinist for the U.S. Army Department of Defense and a U.S. Army veteran, having survived Pearl Harbor. He was a member of Grease Wood Lutheran Church in Adams, OR.
He is survived by two sons, Cecil Bryan Hendricksen of Eubank and David Allan Hendricksen of St. Augustine, FL, three daughters, Beverly Norris of Nicholasville, KY, Gail Carroll of Hope Mills, NC and Shirley Durbin of Stanford, KY, one brother, Edwin Hendricksen of Walla Walla, WA, two sisters, Waunita Dolan and Eleanor Hendricksen, both of Adams, OR, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhoda Civilene Tackett Hendricksen, who died on April 6, 1995, one son, Gordon Hendricksen, five brothers, Leamon, Alexander, Francis, Benjiman and Jeremiah Hendricksen and two sisters, Pearl and Viola Hendricksen.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Clear Fork Cemetery with Bro. Arnold Whitaker officiating.
Burial will be in Clear Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
