Arthur "Snake" Harmon, 86, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Thomas Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky.
He was born in Powhatan, West Virginia on November 24, 1928, son of the late Arthur Harmon Sr. and China Ann Jones Harmon. He was a laborer for Crane Plumbing and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Masonic Lodge #255.
He is survived by one daughter, Karen & (Lerry) Campbell of The Villages, FL, one grandchild, Mark & (Allison) Campbell of Florida and two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Cherry Harmon, who died on May 23, 2002, his parents, one son, Larry Crosley, one daughter, Linda Crosley and four sisters, Alma Hayes, Gladys Anderson, Rose Snyder and Irene Dalton.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon Prather officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
