LaFern Irvine Eastham, 88, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Hogue, Kentucky on May 30, 1926, daughter of the late Esker P. and Ida Pittman Irvine. She was a homemaker and a member of Cumberland Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, John F. & (Brenda) Eastham, Jr. of Pennsylvania and Tom & (Tammy) Eastham of Somerset, two daughters, Mitzi Eastham of Somerset and Rebecca Lawson of Tennessee, one brother, Dasel Irvine of Alexandria, KY, three sisters, Ovilene Deaton and Reva Vaughn, both of Cincinnati, OH and Bernice Smith of Science Hill, ten grandchildren, Ami & (Jeff) Lewis and Michael & (Dawn) Correll, both of Somerset, Jacob & (Suzanne) Eastham of Virginia, Lucas & (Nicole) Eastham of Florida, Bobby Mounce and Jennifer Mounce, both of Tennessee, Stephanie Mounce and Gary Mounce, both of Somerset, Thomas Eastham of Richmond, KY and Kayla & (Lucas) Milby of Campbellsville, KY, great-grandchildren, Jason Slagle, Kara Lewis, Kaleigh Lewis, Colton Correll and Camden Correll and several other great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John F. Eastham, Sr., her second husband, William Felts, Sr., her parents, one brother, Phil Miller and two sisters, Brenda Myers and Linda Phelps. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 16, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Bialon officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland Church of Christ. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
