Meeda Ellen Cash

Meeda Ellen Cash, 84, of Bandy, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Hospice Center after battling with cancer and strokes. She was born in Bandy, Kentucky on July 12, 1924, daughter of the late John S. and Sarah Francis Brown Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. Meeda enjoyed life and was a very hard worker. She enjoyed her gardening, canning, making her pretty quilts, pulling pranks, joking, singing, shopping, spending time with her family and friends and especially going to church. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sharon & (Tom) Paton of Cincinnati, OH, Carol & (Danny) Stepp of Indianapolis, IN, Darrell & (Beverly) Cash of Eubank and Marsha & (Johnny) McClanahan of Williamstown, KY, two special ladies "daughters" Sharon Watts and Judy Carter, her little buddy dog, "Bimbo", grandchildren, Randy, Tina, Allen, Jason, Andy, Andrea, Shawn, Holby, Brandon, Joni and Melissa and eight great-grandchildren, one sister, Bessie Smith and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Willie Cash, her parents, an infant daughter, Arlene, granddaughter, Sandra and her siblings, Lulu, Alma, Myrtle, Odus, Cinda, Jay and Oscar. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 15, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Cromer and Bro. Josh Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
