Ina Orella Ison Burkett

Ina Orella Ison Burkett, 70, of Eubank, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Carter County, Kentucky on January 13, 1945, daughter of the late Rufus and Flora Burchett Ison. She was of the Baptist faith. She attended Deming High School in Robertson County, KY. She had worked at Dinner Bell Restaurant, Kmart Deli and Family Dollar Store, before retiring from Roses Department Store in 2013. She was known and loved by many people and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her children, Lisa & (Ronald) Godbey of Eubank and Jerry & (Beverly) Burkett of Somerset, her grandchildren, Jamie & (Adam) Putman of Eubank, Chasity Burkett of Somerset and James "Nick" Stumph of Eubank, one great-grandchild, Makenzie Grace Putman of Eubank, one sister, Barbara Curtis of Lexington, KY and one brother, Eddie Jacobs of Mt. Olivet, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. "Jim" Burkett, her parents, three brothers and five sister. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Wiles officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
