James B. "Pap" Hendricks, 77, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on November 11, 1937 in Hogue, Kentucky, son of the late William Aaron and Mary Bett McKee Hendricks. He was a retired truck driver for Hostess Cakes, and a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Eulah Maxine Weddle Hendricks; one daughter, Lisa Rena Tucci of Cincinnati, OH; one half sister, Hazel Elliott; two grandchildren, Meredith Tucci, and Michael Tucci; three great-grandchildren, Bryson, Peyton, and Weston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers, Edgar Hendricks, Algear Hendricks, Earl Hendricks, Lannas Hendricks, Roy Amos Hendricks, Alva Hendricks, Gerald Hendricks, and Noble Hendricks; and five sisters, Beulah Adams, Ester Frybarger, Orlean Sweet, Jessie Hendricks, and Leona Workman.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating.
Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard
Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. James Hendricks will be after 6 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
